Samantha was showered with gifts and flowers from the family
Samantha and her three neighborhood friend have been taking dancing this past year at Tueller's. It depended on what day you asked Sammie if she liked dancing. After the review and dancing on stage Sammie decided she liked it and wanted to do it again next year. Sammie was a pirate in a Peter Pan ballet. Her tap dance was Cruella Deville, and her Jazz dance was Hawiian Roller Coaster (from Lilo and Stitch). It was so fun to watch Sammie perform on stage. Her sister Saige was dancing the whole time in the isles and even did her own little dance up on stage before the show started. Saige will be old enough to dance next year. We were so proud of Samantha.
Heat Wave
With the little heat wave we have been having we broke out the slip n slide. the neighborhood kids had a ball and it helped cool them off. I was surprised how brave Saige was she just ran and slid on her tummy! Sammie and her friends took turns doing different stunts it was a fun way to kick of summer!!
Trip to Maui
We started out the month of May with a trip to Maui (a belated anniversary gift to each other). It was so hard to leave the girls we have only left them overnight and this was a whole week we left them in good hands. Both parents took turns coming to stay with the girls they had a blast and had a nice vacation away from mom and dad. We had so much fun we said we were going to go relax and just sit on the beach but we only sat still long enough to tie our shoes. We went on the road to Hanna which should be titled the road from hell. It was the windiest road I have ever been on it takes for ever. They actually make t-shirts that say I survived the road to Hanna, we saw some cool waterfalls there but that is definitely a one ti me thing.Besides all of the beautiful waterfalls the highlight of my trip was seeing the Whale's in the ocean. That was much cooler than Sea World. It actually took us two boat trips out before we saw one. It was well worth it!!! Clark's favorite part was going on a helicopter tour of the island. That kid loves to be up in the sky!!! We went snorkeling but that was not my favorite because lots of people got sea sick on our boat. All the girls wanted us to bring them back was a sea shell that you could hear the ocean in. We decided that we need to make this and annual event.
