May 15th was Saige's dance recital with the Starsteppers it was so dang cute to watch. She is definitely our family's performer. She loves to dance and has no problem dancing on Stage. She did a ballet dance to "People Like You" a song from Aladdin and then her tap dance was to a song called " Mambo". She did great and enjoyed having her grandma and grandpa watching as well as some aunts and uncles. She also thought it was cool that she had some older cousins that dance there as well. Saige you did a great job we are so proud of you . You worked hard all year!!!

The Birthday Girl Posing

Saige was so proud of her cake she kept walking around to show everyone.

Sage decided to have a ballerina party this year which seemed fitting because she is our little dancer and is always performing. All the little girls looked so cute all dressed as little ballerinas. Saige has a good friend Jake that she insisted on coming, he was a good sport to come. We had all of them dance to Zoe's dance moves which was so funny to watch. Sammie was a great big sister and led them all in the dances and helped out with the craft. Another highlight of the party was playing with a parachute they would shoot the Bing bags up in the air and giggle. Saige had a great time .For Saiges birthday dinner she choose to go to Iggy's and then we went to watch the movie Aliens vs Monsters as a family. We are so blessed to have Saige in our family she is always making us laugh and definitely keeps us on our toes.

Sammy C and Sammie W

Samantha decided to take a break from dancing this year and try out gymnastics. She has really enjoyed it. I think she likes the challenge. I could tell she really liked it because after several friends quit she still wanted to go. Her and her friend the other Sammy continued together. I have seen a huge improvement in her from the first of the year. She even wants to continue through the summer but I think we will have her take a break to do some other fun summer activities. At the end they did a cute little Jr Olympics gymnastics meet were they performed each event and earned awards just like a real gymnastics meet. It was so cute it was fun to see what they had learned throughout the year! They even performed a little floor routine. After we went out for ice cream with both the grandparents.

Mommy daughter date

Sammie and some friends went for a mommy daughter shopping night. Samantha decided to be brave and get her ears pierced. She didn't even shed a tear. She just sat there straight faced. It was fun for her to have her friends there with her. A couple other friends got their ears pierced as well. The girls had fun shopping around at Claires in the mall and trying on lotion at Bath and Body. We ended the night at Charlies for some ice cream which made for a late night on a school night. Samantha woke up happy then next day so it was OK. I enjoyed the time with Samantha and it was fun to be with the moms also. There is pictures to come as soon as I find the connector to my cel phone.
