On Thursday we went to Samantha's 1st grade program it was so cute. It was a patriotic program. Each class was dressed in something different and Sammie's class was dressed like Uncle Sam. She said her favorite song they sang was "Your a grand old flag" Samantha did a great job and sang her little heart out. Grandma Carol and Grandpa Kent brought Brooklynn and Kenedy (cousins)to watch and support Sammie. They have been working hard preparing for this program and they did great!!!

It's a Boy

We are so excited to announce we are having a little boy. The girls are so excited to have a little brother. Clarks is thinking it is nice to not be so out numbered. We still have him by one so when it comes down to a vote the girls will still rule!!! He looks healthy and all went well at the Doctors appointment. We can expect him to arrive around July 25th
Our trip to California and Hawaii
I thought this picture was funny because it showed the 3 hour time difference are girls were exausted by 7:00pm
This is the whole crew that went
girls with uncle Devin
The Statue of the famous Duke surfer
These girls from Japan asked to get a picture with the girls I thought it was so cute they love american kids!!!
Saige thinks she is a swimsuit model
one of the few time Saige actually got wet
While in Huntington Beach we went to visit Clarks Grandpa's grave it was good for the girls to hear stories about their great grandpa .
Hanging at the Peir
This was so funny to watch more and more people kept joining in and the drumming just kept getting louder
Sage atleast got her feet in the sand it seems funny to see a winter coat on the beach
We decided to take the girls to Hawaii over Presidents weekend wich probably wasn't the smartest choice. We flew standby and the flight were filled up full we were able to get to Los Angles so we stayed there for a couple of nights. We went to Orange County to Huntington Beach were Clark's mom grew up. We went and walked around the pier even though the water was freezing Samantha our beach bum could not resist and rolled up her pants and headed in. Saige was asleep in the car for a while. She woke up the night before we left with the croup so she did not fee really hot for most of the trip but she had fun watching a bunch of people at the beach play drums and dance around. There was some interesting people that decided to join in. Monday morning we were able to get out to Hawaii. We decided to dedicate this trip to what the kids wanted to do so we spent most of the time at the beach and the swimming pool. Sammie had fun playing in the waves and we rented her a boogie board that she had fun riding the waves in on. Saige is like her mom we prefer heated pools so we waded our feet and stuck to the warm sand. Saige had fun building sand castles and watching some crabs crawl on the rocks. At the beach you could get enormous snow cones which were so yummy. It was so nice not to have a schedule.

Valentines
I didn't catch a picture of Saige on Valentines but the had a fun party at her pre-school class and had her first experience with the whole Valentine thing she was so cute she shared all her treats with her friend Kaitlyn and her sister Sammie the first day she got them. In Sammie's class party we took pictures of all the kids in her class. It was so cute. It was funny to watch the boys freak out that we make them bring the girls a cookie and a drink. I was glad I could be a part of Sammie's class party.
Last Ice Skating lesson
The girls had so much fun taking ice skating lessons I was glad there was something they could both do at the same time even if they were in different classes they could skate together during the free skate after. They both had neighbor friends in their classes which made it that much more fun. They both did great and I saw much improvement in them. If you notice you don't see Saige with a walker anymore and Sammie is officially a better skater than her mom!!!
neighborhood chums: Morgan, Sammie, and Sydnee

Last second we decided to take a trip to St George when we realized the kids had a four day weekend. It wasn't hot and you had to wear a jacket but It was so fun to be outside and playing at parks. Every time we go to St George are kids ask if we can move there, but what they don't realize is they would have to go to school and we couldn't play like that everyday but it was good way to break up this nasty winter. We went swimming at the bubble pool which is tradition. Then we went on an adventure to look for some gypsum rocks that a friend told us about (thanks Megan) the kids had so much fun picking out rocks at the quarry. We tried out a few parks and also stopped by the Fiesta Fun park to mini golf and ride the go-carts. It was a fun filled weekend.
