Making a Splash

The Girls had fun with there friends Olivia and Jake jumping off their playhouse into the swimming pool on the tramp. The girls have basically lived in their swimming suits this summer!! (Oh by the way Saige is wearing Sammie's swim suit that is why it looks so skimpy)

TJ's 30th Birthday

We headed to Salt lake to have a BBQ with the high school gang at the Budge's home for TJ Hess's 30th bithday. We also went to the Bees baseball game. At the end of the game the girls went out on the field and ran the bases. The got to see the bee at Home plate. It was so fun to see everyone and all there cute kids!!

Lemonade Stand

Samantha and Saige each had a friend over and they decided to have a lemonade stand so I helped them make a sign and some lemonade then we headed to the corner to set up. Other neighbors came out and we kept getting more and more workers. I called grandpa Kent and grandma Carol to come in case business was slow. but they had quite a few people stop. It was really cute. They yelled ,"lemonade 25 cents" to get more customers. We ran out of cups and lemonade fast because all the workers got thirsty. After they all went to our house to split up the profits. Pretty sure Samantha won't have as many workers next time. She is trying to save up to earn a dog. Life is so fun when your a kid!!!

We usually go boating on the 4th but we got tickets to Stadium of fire this year so the girls could go down to see Hanna Montanna. I love any excuse to go to fire works so I was excited as well. We even snuck in the Hyrum parade before we left it was fun to watch the girls chase all the candy that was tossed to them. At first I couldn't figure out why Saige wasn't running out to get candy. Then I caught her stealing from her sister's stash of candy. She just sat back and watched her sister and then stole all the good stuff. Stadium of fire was excellent. My favorite was the little dancers and the skydivers. I was not that impressed with Hanna but the girls loved it.

The fourth of July is my favorite holiday and I love to get my family all dressed up in RED, WHITE, and BLUE. It is so fun to go in the stadium to watch. We go with both sides of our family which works out great. We grab our dinner and snacks and head to the stadium . It is fun to watch the kids dance to all the patriotic music with there cousins. The older cousins always paint the girls nails in patriotic colors which is fun plus it keeps them busy waiting for the fireworks.Every year it reminds me how thankful I am to live in the good old USA.

Art Camp

Samantha and a friend from the ward went to art camp at the Eccles Confrence Center they did a lot of cute things dancing, singing, cooking, pottery, and other fun crafts. The theme for this camp was Flora so they did everything based around flowers.

Brave Daddy

Clark was going for the dad of the year award and volunteered to sleep out in the tent with Samantha and a few friends. The night went well except one little accident were he had to take a friend home to get new PJ's she wanted to come back so she didn't miss breakfast. I think she heard we were having donuts for breakfast. Me an Saige slept great inside in our comfy beds.

Swim Lessons

The girls decided to try out swimming lesson this year at the Sports Academy wich I really liked because they had lessons inside so they payed attention to their teacher and then they could go outside and swim after as long as they wanted. It was fun except, Saige got a stomach bug and missed a few days and then I couldn't get her to go back to class . Samantha did great she is a little fish.
